However, it is important to note that diamonds of the same carat weight can appear differently sized across varying shapes and cuts. A diamond with a higher carat weight may look no bigger than a diamond of a smaller carat weight if it has a deeper cut. In other words, the carat weight of a diamond does not always indicate its proportionate size.
